Effective management of employees and their career development will make a happy and effective organization. A learning organization is far more effective than anyone can imagine. Great managers should have discovered that their own success as well as the success of their organization depends on their employees. Training programs, if done correctly, can help create a successful organization. Leaders should value learning and employee development. To be effective as an organization, training programs must be integrated with Human Resources programs and practices and must have commitment from the top! My insight: the effectiveness of training results must be linked with true performance on the current job and expected future performance or training dollars will be wasted!
