Preservation Virginia Feb 16 Reception in honor of Fort Monroe

Preservation Virginia is hosting its 2012 Legislative Reception in honor of Fort Monroe, which recently closed and is in the process of being transferred to the Commonwealth of Virginia for reuse. The organization named Fort Monroe to its list of Virginia’s Most Endangered Historic Sites in 2007 in order to generate awareness of the need to preserve the site.
