I’m not sure what is the first high-speed internet. I imagine it is a DOD project from back in the day.
My first exposure to high-speed internet was college campuses in the late 90s. It was amazing to have such speeds – it revolutionalized how I used the Internet.
My first high-speed internet was 56kb. After I experienced that, I would not settle for anything less until I got home and had to use dial-up.
