What PSRW Means to Us at GovLoop

Public Service Recognition Week is always meaningful for us here at GovLoop because the spirit of PSRW deeply aligns with our mission: helping government employees do their jobs better. Since 2009, GovLoop has strived to be a resource and source of support for all public servants. We are honored and excited to celebrate PSRW alongside all of the hard-working gov employees that make up the GovLoop community.  

This week, we are dedicated to acknowledging and increasing the visibility of the hard work, dedication, and impact of those who serve in government roles at all levels.

3. Strengthening Community: Public Service Recognition Week fosters a sense of community and solidarity among public servants. It is an opportunity for gov employees to come together, share your stories, and support one another in the mission to serve.  

How We Can Celebrate:  

•  Express Gratitude: Take a moment to thank a public servant for their hard work and dedication. A simple gesture of appreciation can go a long way; we invite you to send a free PSRW e-card to your colleagues now. 

• Nominate Your Peers for Recognition: Our NextGen Public Service Awards are officially open for nominations! This is a free and confidential way to seek recognition for your peers who go above and beyond in their roles. 

• Share Stories: Let’s take this week to share stories of public service excellence within our community. Please share your stories with us! We’d love to hear from you on social channels or in a quick email.
