Remember That Feeling
Remember that feeling in school when you were done with the semester. Or done with a big paper.
You know…just relieved. Relaxed. Lots of calm. And huge celebration of it.
I think we should reenact that feeling at work. We need to celebrate our successes even more.
And cut loose.
Agreed! I previously worked in the semiconductor industry, and they did just this thing!! Celebration of fininshing a big order/tool, getting a big account — Management did parking lot bbq’s, and pizza parties at these semi-milestone events. I definately believe it helped morale and turnover. So important these days with American’s job satisfaction being at an all-time low….
That’s cool. Remember pizza parties as a kid. Those were great. I’d love that again.
