I just ran an web accessibility checker on GovLoop and found some errors:
- Missing form label on the search box
- Missing alt text on the sponsor graphics/links on the home page
- Sign up form: has good form labels on all fields except the date
- My page: No form label on “What are you up to?” field
- My page: missing alt text on “My Ranking” figures
A positive thing I noticed was good alt text on all user pictures and an accessible sign in page… But on My Page the user pics all had generice alt text “user pic” instead of the person’s name.
Has anyone else noticed any issues?
