Big Data Webinar Focused on Use Cases in Government 28 August 2012

On 28 August 2012 Carahsoft will sponsor a webinar on Apache Hadoop use cases in the federal government. I’ll be providing introductory context on several categories of use cases and extracting some broad lessons from those use cases. This scene setter on Big Data use cases will be followed by a dive into Cloudera’s foundation for Big Data solutions, their Apache Hadoop distribution called CDH4. Their presentation will include an overview of Cloudera Manager, a capability which makes Hadoop safe for the enterprise.

Please sign up to attend this webinar, I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss use cases with you, and I think you will get some valuable information from Cloudera’s Drew O’Brien. Drew is incredibly knowledgeable on the Big Data tools available for solutions today, and puts them all in a great context you can use. The context he provides is a great way to understand where Cloudera Manager fits in enterprise Big Data solutions.
