There is a lot going on in the Federal government right now – as we’re sure you know – and most of it has to do with budgets. What will be cut? What will be saved? Which budgets will be trimmed? And will any budgets see increases? We keep an eye on news that involves the Federal government and its sustainability efforts, and these are a few headlines we’ve seen recently that caught our eye:
- DoD may see extra $1.5B in fuel costs
- Agencies juggle rising fuel costs with cost-cutting
- Sustainability efforts to move ahead despite budget cuts
Obviously, particularly in light of the first two headlines, we’re happy to see that sustainability is seen as both good for the environment and the budget line.
