The Partnership for Public Service, the Public Employees Roundtable and GEICO are hosting “Public Servant Day” at the Washington Nationals on Sunday, May 1 during a 1:35 p.m. game against the 2010 World Series Champions, the San Francisco Giants.
The event is part of Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW), an annual celebration of the men and women who serve America as federal, state, county and local government employees.
Discounted tickets are available to everyone, not just government employees, and include free admission to a pre-game celebration of service at 12:00 p.m. sponsored by GEICO. The reception will include food, drinks and a performance by the 2009 Funniest Fed, Jeff Maurer.
