In my conversation with Mjumbe, it became clear that he has always been fascinated by technology and that he is deeply optimistic about its potential to transform society.

In many ways, it seems like Code for America is just the right fit for Mjumbe: it fulfills his appetite for an intellectual challenge, his desire to working with a community of like minded individuals, and his need to be doing something to make the world a better place.
