Half way through graduate school – and wondering what direction the hill will be next year?

So, I am officially two weeks, three projects, one group meeting and eight evaluations away from being done with my frist year of my Masters of Public Policy! I’m grateful for the experience of working full-time while going to school but starting to question whether it’s possible to do both well while maintaining my sanity and my marriage.

Contrary to whatever my husband might tell you, I’m not one to whine too much. I know there’s plenty of you out there that survived graduate school and held full-time status as a public servant. How did you do it? Did something have to give? I’m already starting to feel burnt out and know that something has to give but I can’t/don’t want to decrease my performance level in school or work. Any tricks of the trade from all you working grads?

Michaela
