Help with Twitter

About a month ago, the background and text on our NCSLCOMM Twitter site turned bright red!
It hurts our eyes to look at the page!
When we checked our settings, it still said the background was blue and the text was black (orgional colors). Strange!
When we went to change it, we received a message from Twitter saying there is a problem with our “profile customization,” meaning we cannot save anything.

We did file a claim at Twitter’s help desk, only to find out that we are one of roughly 4,000 people who have had this happen to their account.

Any suggestions, tips, or advice on how to fix this? Has this happened to anyone else?
