To be considered for the exceptional opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

  1. The ability to communicate to a diverse range of people from non-technical neighborhood groups to City Council to fellow MPO members. Exceptional communication is required and you must address your level of comfort and experience in communicating in writing and orally to a variety of stakeholders.
  2. Project management experience taking an initial proposal through to finish with limited senior level guidance.
  3. The ability to thrive in a fast paced ever evolving climate, with adaptability and quick turnaround times for projects.
  4. The ability to juggle Local Government and an MPO work and projects simultaneously.
  5. Hands on experience with travel demand modeling software is strongly preferred but an ability to learn and theoretical knowledge will be considered.
  6. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Planner
