In this episode of Meeting Tips Radio, Elaine Stover of greenschemes shares several practical meeting tips that you can use today!

Elaine Stover is a Human Ecologist, Facilitator, Trainer and Process Designer, and Founder and Principal, greenschemes™. She has lived and worked in four countries outside of the U.S.: Australia, India, Egypt and Belgium where she worked with the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) to develop what is now known as Technology of Participation (ToP)®. She used this methodology to train village health caretakers in India and Egypt and Eritrea from 1981 – 1987.

Since 1992, she has focused her work primarily in North Carolina, first as the Director of ICA at Greensboro, working with planning and design professionals to facilitate participatory, integrated thinking and co-planning and design processes toward planning and redesigning communities. She founded greenschemes™ in 2006, in order to incorporate an ecological perspective into her work. Her integrative work includes designing collaborative processes and training programs – including training in ToP Facilitation Methods and ToP Strategic Planning – both of which are participatory and productive. She is currently serving as a Mentor ToP trainer for Apprentice trainers across North & South Carolina.

Ms. Stover holds a B.S. from Purdue University and a M.S. in Human Ecology (magna cum laude) from Vrije Univrsiteit Brussels, Brussels, Belgium. She has also done graduate study in ecological design at North Carolina State University. She is currently a nationally certified Mentor trainer of the Technology of Participation (ToP)® .
