Pre-conference activities offered up by NCDD Seattle attendees

For this year’s NCDD conference, we’re encouraging attendees to self-organize workshops and gatherings on the day before the conference, and the list of options is growing!

Check out the current list of pre-conference activities that have been popping up at www.ncdd.org/events/pre-conference. At this point, you can participate in workshops on Methods Mapping with the Group Works card deck in the afternoon, and evening Conversation Cafe at the Seattle Center, and an e-Democracy Training and Peer Exchange for Online Neighbor Connectors, and a morning workshop on Community Weaving. I happen to know that at least two other activities will be added to the list shortly — a D&D bootcamp run by Martin Carcasson from Colorado State University, and a beer meet-up for Canadians convened by C2D2′s Arjun Singh.

Our self-organized pre-conference activities are fun way to launch your conference weekend and meet some of your fellow conference attendees… so plan to join in if you’re local or if you’re coming in on Thursday!
