ELGL is pleased to participate in “Link-In Live Networking, Real People, Real Conversations” at the First Avenue Career & Graduate School Expo at University of Portland Chiles Center this Friday, April 5. The networking event is from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM.
The Link In Live networking session is an opportunity for students to meet and connect with industry professionals, many of whom are alumni of Oregon Liberal Arts Placement Consortium colleges and universities. These graduates of liberal arts colleges and will be sharing their career path since they graduated. There is a diverse set of professions, workplace roles, and organizations represented. Review the names, research the organizations and industries represented, and formulate questions to ask the professionals. While they are not specifically representing their current employer, they will provide unique and valuable insights. Learn how you can strategize to get your foot in the door.
To facilitate the networking and connections from “Link In Live,” ELGL has extended the deadline for the ELGL resume book until Monday, April 8, 2013 at noon. The Link In Live participants are encouraged to submit their resumes to [email protected] to ensure their continued outreach and networking.
