Reunions and Velcro Patches In Vegas

A band of brothers met up in Vegas recently and we were able to participate in this reunion, albeit from afar. Many would not have been able to make the journey unless they had help. Todd Torrance stepped up and created the GoFundMe account and raised $2620 for the men.

The Infantry platoon officially designated as 1st Platoon, B company, 2/87 Infantry Battalion of the 10th Mountain Division, known to its members and those with whom it served as “the Fightin’ First.” Todd was honored to serve as a member of this brotherhood from 2002-2004, including during a deployment (as part of a larger task force) to Afghanistan in 2003-2004.

Throughout the years the men pictured here gave over 175 years in service to our country, with some still serving today. They deployed more than 80 times to combat zones, 6-7 times by a few. Some were injured in combat, and all served with honor. All of these men made it home, although not all are here today.

Many companies pitched in to create keepsakes for this wonderful get together. And we were happy to supply a custom velcro patch for the group. Something that will remind them for many years to come about that special reunion.
