The 50 Best Federal Technology Blogs

Fed Tech Magazine recently released their list of “50 Must-Read Federal Technology Blogs,” which included CTOvision.com. The list is a great resource, featuring the blogs of numerous government CIOs, CTOs, cybersecurity experts, and departments, as well as top federal news sources. I noticed that most of these blogs and experts also had a Twitter presence so I used TwitChimp to create a Twitter list of federal tech accounts to follow:

Aside from letting you see who to add, this TwitChimp list gives you a word cloud that says which ideas are most important in the federal technology sphere. While some are fairly obvious – currently “cloud” and “data” are often being mentioned – some are more surprising such as “health.” TwitChimp also provides a similar cloud for top hashtags, with a few notable ones being #BYOD, #GSA, and #Gov20.

Also, if you aren’t willing to follow the close to 50 listed federal tech blogs, TwitChimp lets you see a stream of their latest tweets. And, if you think there are some notable tech blogs I’ve missed, you can suggest additions though TwitChimp as well.
