USDA’s County Fair Draws a Large Crowd of CFC Supporters

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) held an old-fashioned county fair today on the patio of their Whitten Building. The event featured food, a rummage sale, and many games of chance. All proceeds went towards this year’s Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area (CFCNCA).

One of the event’s highlights was the Deputy Administrator for Farm Programs, Brandon Willis, allowing himself to be taped to a large board. USDA employees paid fifty for a three foot strip of duct tape and slowly taped him to the board. Once he was firmly secured, the winner of a raffle, hit him in the face with a pie.
