Using Storify and Vine to Capture Gist of HP’s Government Software Summit

By

A big part of the value of technology events like the 16-17 April 2013 HP Government Software Summit is the personal interactions between attendees. Direct engagement with the many tech demos is also something you have to do at the event. But social media is allowing more and more of the gist of activities to be captured. The Storify and Vine platforms were used by my friend Andrew Scott of Carahsoft to build a very interesting summary. The result: in many ways Andrew captured the spirit of the event. Check it out below:

Event Background:

  • Taking on the Sequester requires the right IT solutions.
  • IT is both a target and a powerful response to beltway budget cutting.
  • Innovation on a Budget!
  • HP Software is excited to be hosting its 3rd annual HP Software Government Summit. Join our invited government executive speakers and technology experts as they discuss how your agency can better leverage existing IT investments, countering the Sequester and other cost-cutting initiatives.
