Where’s the IT money?

A preliminary analysis of IT spending by Input, an IT think tank, identifies where the money is located in the federal budget and what agencies will benefit.

No surprise that the Department of Veterans Affairs comes out on top. IT spending is targeted to increase by 20 percent. The VA is one of the fastest growing departments in terms of IT budgets. The agency is struggling to deal with increased demands for services, primarily from soldiers returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.
