How Integrated Governance Builds Trust and Reduces Operational Friction

Data security mandates can leave state and local agencies feeling pulled in two directions. They must protect and govern data in compliance with requirements such as the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and the Government Risk and Authorization Management Program (GovRAMP). But they also need to make that data accessible and usable. Those competing priorities can create operational friction as agencies rely on manual processes and workarounds to navigate this environment.

The key, according to Justin Pava, Chief Product Evangelist at Laserfiche, is to focus on information readiness.
