How about OPM recreates their innovation lab in a breakout room, complete with their facilitators? NextGen attendees submit agency problems beforehand. The lab does realtime problem solving during the two days and you can sign up to be a part of the sessions.

- Something to incorporate: a morning run through DC, past the big monuments or a training session in the hotel gym before one of the days. Work/life balance and managing stress could be the topic… May be suited more for those traveling to NextGen (like me!) and I’m sure you guys have those numbers. Before kids or after kids? 🙂
I used to be that guy in the office on the Friday after Thanksgiving. It was always nice and quiet. Got a lot done. I still work that Friday – just now it’s at home, on my laptop for a couple of hours in the morning, sitting on the couch while kids get their cartoon fix.
