Mr. GovLoop Turns 30! Wish Steve Well Today (10/13)!

It’s hard to believe, but our favorite Rising Star, Young Government Leaders co-creator and GovLoop Founder has reached the BIG 3-0.

I got to know Steve a couple years ago over a beer (or two)…like many of you, I’m sure!

And it wasn’t just any beer…it had to be Yuengling – true to his UPenn roots. 🙂

Of course, most of our conversation was centered on the future – brainstorming about ways to make the then fledgling GovLoop even more awesome, how to share the incredible stories of govies and ideas for getting the best and brightest of the next generation to consider public service.

I’m sure many of you have favorite moments and memories (and photos or videos?) with Steve, or just want to share your appreciation for his world-changing, make-a-difference adventures over the years.

Feel free to do so below…I can’t think of a better milestone to mark the Ressler awesomeness.

Wow you’re old— HAHA! J/K
Happy birthday!!! And might I add that YEUNGLING IS THE BEST!!!
And on a side note, have you had the Joe Porter of Philadelphia Brewing Company? I think that beer by far is the best ever now…nice blend of coffee and beer- my two favs!! hahahahahaha
And ditto what everyone else has said, thanks for providing us the networks and the connections for improving government foundations and fostering those communications!

Happy Birthday Steve! Have you ever done the Yuengling Tour? I did last year it was a good time with some education thrown in for fun — Plus free samples! If you have time before/after the Philly Gov Up stop by.

new here to Govloop, but couldn’t help but notice the reference to…beer! and your birthday…

So, Happy Birthday!— I have wingtips older than you! Do you know what wingtips are…?

I look forward to sharing a beer with you at some point…Have a great day!
take care,

Happy Birthday, Steve. I believe you’ve found true “balance” in your life as the founder of GovLoop – characteristic of being a Libra, no doubt! Keep up the superb leadership!

Best wishes from Southern Oregon, Steve, on your 30th! Regarding your 30s list, beer is great, but great coffee is better, though when you’re my age, you have to substitute decaf for light beer.
