The role is in scenic Honolulu, and the person who fills it will work at the National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS). If you love nature, you might want to hear about the Interior Department’s (DOI) vacancy in Indiahoma, Oklahoma. As a new fire management officer, you’ll work for DOI’s US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. The person in this capacity will manage the full range of wildland fire operations in the area, including safety, preparedness, training, suppression, prescribed fires, facilities, equipment, and medical standards.  The Presidio Trust oversees San Francisco’s Presidio, a former Army base that is now “a new kind of national park.” The Trust is looking for a supervisor to manage its tree crew, which has planted over 40 acres of young trees at 44 sites during the past 18 years.
