FOSE to Feature CloudCamp and Cloud Computing Pavilion in 2010

Building on Successes of 2009, Cloud Sessions Will Provide Educational Opportunities and Promote Collaboration

FALLS CHURCH, Va. – December 9, 2009 – FOSE 2010, the most comprehensive event for government information technology (IT) professionals, today announced that it will be featuring its second annual CloudCamp and Cloud Computing Pavilion at FOSE. FOSE will be held March 23‐25, 2010 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The second annual CloudCamp at FOSE will provide government attendees with educational sessions on cloud services so they can make the best decisions for their agencies. CloudCamp is an “unconference” that provides opportunities for attendees to suggest topics they would like to learn about in‐depth relating to the cloud computing arena. Members of the CloudCamp lead educational information sessions and share experiences based on their early adoption of cloud platforms and services, creating an ad hoc atmosphere specifically catered to those in the field.

The Cloud Computing Pavilion will serve as a focal point for this community, showcasing companies that provide cloud applications, infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and other technologies and services to help government agencies with their cloud efforts.

“CloudCamp is a unique experience that allows attendees to drive the conversation and learn about the different types of opportunities and services relevant to their agency’s needs,” said Don Berey, Show Director for 1105 Government Information Group. “With cloud computing becoming more mainstream in the federal government, these events provide two central areas where government IT professionals can meet with their peers and vendors to discuss the latest products and services available for government.”
The FOSE 2010 Cloud Computing Pavilion is teaming with industry partners, such as WaveMaker, Ciracom and the Intel® Corporation. For more information on exhibiting at the Cloud Computing Pavilion, or on FOSE 2010, please visit www.fose.com.
