How is TheIntelligenceCommunity.com different from other “online networks”?

While social in nature, we consider TheIntelligenceCommunity.com to be a resource platform with the benefit networking with other members of the Intelligence and National Security community, not “social networking”.

There are sites that cater to the “Federal Community” as a whole, but there is no other networking platform dedicated to serving the Intelligence and National Security community. We want to provide a platform for the community that overcomes the limitations of other social or professional networks.

We have designed TheIntelligenceCommunity.com to be a “Resource Center” as well as a networking platform. A place where our community can not only network, exchange ideas, and find / post jobs, but a destination where the Intelligence and National Security community can access resources such as training, education, webinars, conference / seminars, literature, research, consultants, strategic partners and more.

We want to provide a business to business networking platform and resource center for our members as well as a professional networking a platform.

A Few Unique Features

Two unique features of our site include Instant Messaging and Video Conferencing.

IM – Contact other logged in members directly via instant messaging. This is a controllable feature and users have the option to adjust their IM visibility.

Video Conferencing – Recruiters can conduct video interviews right on the site with a potential candidates! This could also be a valuable B2B networking tool as well. Conduct face to face video meetings. Finally, a place where the voice on the other end of a phone call is not just a picture from profile!

If anyone has any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
