“Seeing is believing,” as they say, makes a world of difference. I had never heard of NOAA’s amazing teaching tool, Science on a Sphere, before today. But after seeing it in action, I have to admit to being impressed and amazed! How I wish I could’ve seen something like this in school.
Evidently, it travels to various museums and other locations. If you have a chance to see it – don’t pass up the opportunity!
In the DC/Baltimore area, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Visitor’s Center hosts the sphere, as does the Maryland Science Center at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.
