Hey GovLoopers –
Some of you may not be aware of it but we have a GovLoop iphone app ( http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/govloop/id356284860?mt=8).
Actually have had one for over a year.
It’s been a pretty cool way to
-Read the latest blogs and discussions on GovLoop
-Read the latest news across government news channels
Heck we even have over 15 positive reviews on the iphone app store
We just updated the app to make it more 2-way with the v1.4 release with the My Page tab to:
-Post photos directly from the phone
-Update your GovLoop status
-Add a blog post directly
Also added additional content like:
-GovLoop activity feed
-Gov 2.0 radio syndication
There’s still some bugs to work out (I know realize how much time/skill it takes to make apps like Facebook iphone app).
But I think it is a great step forward.
We’ll keep iterating and working hard to add to new platforms (Android, Bberry, Windows 7, etc)
