August 19 Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Event in DC

On August 19, 2011, the Department of Energy (DOE) will be co-sponsoring an outreach event for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses who wish to provide products or services to DOE. This event, Showcase Expo and MatchMaker, will be held in Washington D.C., and is co-sponsored by GovConectx.

This is an excellent opportunity for companies to learn about the requirements for working with DOE, and gain insights into current and future markets for DOE products and services. Participants will also have the opportunity to interact directly with DOE outreach and procurement personnel.

DOE is co-sponsoring the Showcase Expo and MatchMaker to help ensure we have an adequate number of qualified suppliers for future projects and programs. Suppliers can use the knowledge gained from the event to tailor their products and services in the coming years.

Other agencies expected to attend include the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs, the Small Business Administration, the Department of Education, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
