Friday Fab Five: Technology Propelling us Forward

Hey GovLoopers! Happy Friday – hope you had a great week. I injured my toe and was limping for most of the week. Momma said there would be days like this.

Here is the week’s Fab Five!

Top Blog: Mike Kujawski wrote a great blog about getting rid of his landline and poses the question of what could be next – Goodbye Telephone.

Top Forum: Jennifer K. Smith asks if govies are using Social Network for Internal Purposes?

Top Member: Corina L. DuBois started some great discussions this week about social media’s place in government.

Top Group: If you are interested in mobile technology’s effect on government check out The Mobile Gov Group.

Top Quote: Our parent company GovDelivery hosted a conference this week. One of the presenters was Adam Conner (Facebook’s Washington DC Associate for Privacy and Global Public Policy). Adam stated that 66% of all government agencies currently use some form of social networking. Pretty interesting statistic.

Well that is it from me! Hope you have a great weekend! See you next week.
