Tiny Bemidji State University (in Bemidji, MN… located on the western shore of Lake Bemidji) upsets Notre Dame in the Midwest Regional Finals.
Let’s say that again for good measure… #2 ranked and #1 seed Notre Dame goes down to a school that has 5000 students.

Okay… you’ve had your 60 seconds… now celebrate… in this NCAA Men’s Division I Ice Hockey Tournament, there of the four #1 seeds, including Michigan, Notre Dame, and Denver were sent packing in the 1st round of the tournament. That’s why we play this tournament… that’s also why March Madness, the Men’s NCAA Basketbal tournament is so awesome… both championships are determined on the field of play… not by a silly computer system.
And that’s why we need a playoff system in college football.
