We are currently recruiting for a Network Engineer to support a DoD client program in Tampa, FL. Due to client requirements, a DoD Secret clearance is required.

The successful candidate shall have experience in SONET/DWDM, WAN, MAN, and LAN network technology. The candidate shall have recent experience in planning, preparing, implementing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the cutover of circuits transitioned to a SONET/DWDM infrastructure. Documented experience and ability to demonstrate technical skills/abilities with the following technology is highly desirable:

• Cisco Network Equipment (to include optical network equipment)
• Nortel Network Equipment (to include optical network equipment)
• Network Testing Equipment (to include but not limited to the equipment listed below)
  • DSP-4300 – Fluke Networks Digital Cable Analyzer
  • EMTS5100E – MTS 5100e Mini Optical Test Platform
  • 2230-ENG – 2230 E1/Data Communications Module, English version
  • TTC2230-FREQ – Frequency OffSet Generator Option
  • DA3400-P2 – SNIFFER TECHNOLOGY (DA/3400 ETHERNET LX)
  • 2260/04 – Optical Analyzer – 1450-1650nm Monitor Output
  • 2260/90.11 – PMD Test Kit for OSA-155 (Kit A)
