I tend to do a few different things depending on the level of stress i am experiencing in my work environment. If the level of stress is low, I bicycle it out or take a walk. If the level of stress is high, I watch a good comedy or talk to myself engaging in the idea of how idiotitc it is to allow the stress. In other words, I kinda talk myself into a better mood with humor of some sorts… How about you?

I do Yoga. My stress level always seems to be high. I travel frequently and Yoga is something I can do everywhere I go. I know it works too, because when I take a break from Yoga, I tend to be more aggravated at the small stuff. I think watching a good comedy is a great idea too, Diana!

What an excellent source for stress management! Yoga is like utilizing or bringing together the mind, body & spirit, correct? When do you find time to discipline yourself to participate in yoga activities? Time of day, type of yoga and length of each activity? Begging you to tell more… Diana

Yes, it is . I actually do it in the evenings when I get home from work. It is best to do on an empty stomach, so I do it before dinner. We often eat dinner a little late. It is a perfect way to wind down from a busy day. I do a combination of asanas (poses or stretches) and Vinyasas (synchronized movements). It is both relaxing and energizing at the same time. Plus, it has tremendous strength building and fitness potential. I spend a minimum of 30 minutes, but try to do it every day.
