Retweet and Recycle for Our Troops

Every day our brave U.S Military men and women keep us protected, both overseas and back home in the States. They deserve all the praise and gratitude we can give them. Have you ever wanted to express your appreciation our beloved members of the Armed Services while also giving back to the community? Here’s an awesome way to take action.

FOSE Conference & Exposition is partnering with Operation Gratitude on a phone recycling initiative to support our soldiers overseas.

Operation Gratitude‘s mission is to bring a little joy to a soldier’s face and express our nation’s appreciation by sending care packages and letters personally addressed to U.S. Military whoa are deployed in harm’s way, their children left behind and recovering Wounded Warriors.

So here’s what you can do:

Bring your old cell phones and smartphones to FOSE, taking place July 19-21. Drop them off at the 1105 Media booth on the Expo floor – booth #521. Phones that are donated will not only be recycled, but will help Operation Gratitude send care packages to overseas troops.

Can’t attend but still want to help? Retweet!

1105 Media, Inc. is donating one care package for every 30 retweets of the following between now and Tuesday, July 19th:

Pls RT: #Recycle old #cellphones at @FOSE & help @OpGratitude – 30 RTs=1 care pkg donated to #troops! http://bit.ly/FOSEOpGrat

So let’s all do what we can to send our thanks to our heroes who make huge sacrifices every day to keep our country safe and protected. Grab those old phones and tell your friends. Don’t forget to Retweet the message above to do your part and spread the love.

FOSE is taking place July 19-21 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in DC. Register today and utilize the GovLoop discount ( “govloop” for $100 off).
