BACHMANN BOOK. Roll Call. “Several of Bachmann’s opponents for the GOP presidential nomination — including Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Sen. Rick Santorum (Pa.), former Georgia Gov. Newt Gingrich and Rep. Ron Paul (R) — are already published authors. Georgia businessman and GOP presidential contender Herman Cain will release a memoir in October with Threshold Editions, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster.”

TWITTER HIRE. The Hill. “Colin Crowell, former adviser to Federal Communications Commission chairman Julius Genachowski, said Monday he will be joining Twitter in mid-September as head of global public policy.”
