Countdown to Drupal Gov Days 2013: Check out these sessions and keynote speakers!

Looking for the future of the Drupal Project or maybe wondering what kind of open source projects are going on at DoD or maybe even in…Canada?

On August 14th and August 15th (Wednesday and Thursday) at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Drupal4Gov and Mil-OSS are pulling together a fabulous open source event and it’s FREE!

Please note the new web site: http://www.drupalgovdays2013.org

We have a dedicated room planned for intermediate and advanced training in Drupal (theming, site building, dev, etc…) and a dedicated room to take you from installing Drupal through committing your first patch. We’re also dedicating a room for Bird of a Feather (BoF) self selected and unplanned get togethers.

But we don’t just have those dedicated rooms, we also have proposed sessions, like Git for absolute beginners . Another proposed session looks at auditory accessibility in Drupal Speaks: Aural User Interfaces, new Drupal 8 accessibility features and my personal favorite, Information Architecture. The site has been up for only a week and we already have 189 registered and lots of proposed sessions.

We also have a great lineup of keynote speakers:
Col. Allen – Creator of the CompanyCommand and PlatoonLeader websites
Dr. Wheeler – Expert on open source security
Jasyson Peltzer – Web strategist for the National Defence of Canada
Michael E Meyers – Vice President of Large Scale Drupal at Acquia’s Office of the CTO

Register soon because seats are going fast!
