Dogs in Government

National Puppy Day is recongized every March 23rd, to celebrate the joy that puppies bring our lives, to help save orphanzed puppies, and to educate the public about the horrors of puppy mills. If you or someone you know is thinking of getting a puppy, PLEASE use or a reputable breeder. You are NOT rescuing a puppy if you get it from the pet store-you are supporting puppy mills.

I am so glad that my directed me to my Siberian Husky “puppy” at the ASPCA in Annapolis. He wrapped his tail around my heart.

You are so right–there are many wonderful homeless pets out there. We have two wonderful dogs and both are rescues. At rescues, you can find puppies, older pets, house trained pets, etc. Rescue a pet and they will rescue you right back.
