GPO’s 2009 Open House: New Products, New Services

This year will be our best year yet. The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) invites customers from all federal agencies to participate in our 2009 Open House. Come see our creative professionals at work, learn about our new products and services, and enter to win FREE training or a FRAMED photo of our new President, Barack Obama.
We’re hoping to broadcast some segments live, tweet, and post video and images to our site.

Stay tuned for more releases!

I attended the GPO Open House in 2008 and I highly recommend anyone looking to work with GPO in the future attend. While at the Open House I was able to go on a tour of the facility and it was fascinating because of GPO’s long history and many methods of printing. I especially loved the gentleman who does the leather binding and marbling of presidential and congressional books. I also met a number of great designers and account managers who were very helpful.

Jennifer,
Thanks for attending last year! This year ill be even better. We’re also conducting “mini-courses” on web development, pdf practices, and a few other ideas we’ve kicked around. Today, I just saw a new product we’re giving away to all attendees. I can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet. You gotta be there. Hope to see you again this year. If so, stop by the Institute’s booth.
