Yesterday, the State of Michigan rolled out a major update to the Michigan.gov portal. CIO Ken Theis, quoted in Government Technology magazine, suggests, “Visitors to the site can [now] access five times the amount of information without leaving the home page. It’s a more useful and pleasing site and it positions Michigan with one of the best government Web sites in the country.”
Ken does a great job for the State of Michigan. Kudos on the new site!
Really interesting redesign…Haven’t seen too many like it.
One suggestion for Michigan…I think you have more height space you could use. Feels a little short.
Ken may single handedly keep Michigan up and running by the time it’s all done and said… He’ll probably do it by consolidating all government agencies into one super agency under him and the Governor.
