Pentagon Looks to DMI-Fixmo Team for Mobile Infrastructure

Digital Management Inc. has partnered with Fixmo Inc. to help the Defense Information Systems Agency manage and secure mobile devices under a $16 million contract.

DMI will use Fixmo’s technology to secure DISA’s mobile devices connecting to the Defense Department’s networks as part of the Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Store programs, Fixmo said Wednesday.

Bruce Gilley, president of Fixmo U.S., said the company intends to help DoD component agencies adopt mobile security, integrity and compliance.

Fixmo will deliver technologies for mobile app security, data encryption, data leakage prevention, remote access security, device verification and risk detection and policy compliance reporting.

That company’s technologies were built under Co-operative Research and Development Agreements with the National Security Agency.

The contract contains a base period of one year four six-month options.
