I am new to govloop and excited about the possibilities for cross-pollination here. One initiative that I want to alert other gov technologists to is [email protected]

This effort is sponsored by the Department of State’s Office of eDiplomacy. eDiplomacy exists to help wed technology innovations with U.S. diplomatic efforts. One of the ways we are helping fuel this synthesis is through quaterly meetings, called [email protected]

[email protected] brings together technology enthusiasts, entreprenuers, innovators, and goverment folks to discuss latest practices and problems in the global sphere that may be answerable through technology innovations. We held our first meeting in May on the initiatives in Haiti to respond to the disasterous earthquake. Our second event was held in August on Mobile Money.
