UK Local Gov Engagement Online Doctoral Researcher (www.lgeoresearch.com) will be in NYC and DC in April

Dear all,
I currently run the Local Government Engagement Online Research Blog in the UK, which is visited by government officials from all around the world everyday. I have been compiling alot of data on which local councils are using social media (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube) to engage with citizens online. I also recently won the FutureGov Consultancy competition to attend the Politics Online Conference in Washington DC (16th April – 22nd April) to learn more about online governance via web 2.0 technologies.

I am looking for interested individuals who want to share experience and best practices using online media tools to communicate with citizens to complete my PhD thesis. I will also be in NYC from 13th April – 16th April and hoping to meet either technology experts or local government officials that wouldn’t mind sharing with the UK public services communities that frequently visit my blog. All interviews will be professionally edited like this http://www.lgeoresearch.com/liz-meets-stephen-dale/ .

If you are interested to meet me while I’m in the states, kindly email me at [email protected] so we can make arrangements. Due to the time constraint, the selected interviews will be on first come first serve and relevancy to research basis.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Many thanks.
