Shout out to Award-winning NAGW Board members

I’ve learned a lot from NAGW members.

That’s actually an understatement. I’ve learned almost everything I know about web design, HTML, CSS, standards, policies, and productivity enhancing tools from NAGW members.

The things these folks produce never cease to amaze me and always give me ideas and inspiration.

So, I’d like to send a shout out to NAGW’s former president, Chris Audano, on the City of Overland Park’s winning entry in the Digital Government Achievement Awards, Driving Digital Government Local Government Category: Property Tax Calculator.

Another shout out goes to John Nixon, a (relatively) new NAGW Board member from Austin TX. Austin won with two entries in the Government Internal Category: a Flood Early Warning System and a Communications Technology Management Green IT Program.

To all the other winners: CONGRATULATIONS!! Join us at the NAGW.org 2012 National Conference in Kansas City in September. Share your innovative ideas with your peers and do a bit of well-deserved bragging. Congrats.
