This overemphasis on the business case for diversity and inclusion has placed too much importance on the diversity side of the equation.
Working from home is a major benefit, but if you don’t have the right set up, it can be a major pain.
According to the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, 65 percent of employees said they are engaged at their workplace, compared with 64 percent last year. Even the Department of Homeland Security saw improved engagement scores after six straight years on the decline.
“When we draw on the wisdom of a workforce that reflects the population we serve, we are better able to understand and meet the needs of our customers-the American people.”
Plans include providing more rotational job opportunities in and outside of government and creating a cyber track for the Presidential Management Fellows program.
